UPPER WEST SIDE APARTMENT
A modern three bedroom on the upper west side
“‘We went through 26 versions of the floor plan,’ recalls Neha Ruch. The final version? A 2,500-square-foot home with one wing dedicated to the family’s three bedrooms, and at the opposite end, a semi-open living and entertaining space with views of the American Museum of Natural History and Central Park. You’d almost never know that when they bought the place in March 2018, it was actually three separate units (they enlisted architects John Kim and Tai Ming Moy of Kimoy Studios to help them make the big change).” – Domino Magazine
Clean and Crisp
I partnered with long-time friend and collaborator Claire Esparros to create these images for the client, Neha Rauch. Claire and I worked together on the creative direction of each photo. The styling was meant to be relaxed to reflect the familiar nature of the home. Florals were sourced by Anthony Watts of Layer and add a perfect amount of life to the space.
Keeping it fresh
“In the kitchen, Kim and Moy brought in their go-to, kid-friendly countertop material: Unique Calacatta by a company called Compac. ‘You can’t really tell it’s not marble, even when you’re touching it,’ notes Moy.” – Domino Magazine
