PARK SLOPE STUDIO
Located in the historic Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, this pre-war studio was designed to maximize every square inch of it’s four hundred plus square feet. The kitchen and bathroom saw complete gut renovations with coordinating finishes that imbue a sense of cohesion and intention throughout. Special thought was given to each piece of furniture, with most serving double duty.
Historic PArk Slope sees a modern renovation
The shelving in the living room acts not only as an entertainment unit, but also a small work station. The custom slip-covered accent chairs are on casters and can be easily swiveled around when the desk is in use.
Neutral colors, raw materials, and varying textures are layered throughout
Stainless SPlendor
The kitchen was completely reconfigured with a new single wall of cabinetry that extends to the ceiling, maximizing the usable storage space. The base cabinets are stainless steel which is a utilitarian choice and adds an unexpected element to the design. The scheme is accented with black hardware throughout and the kitchen cabinet knobs are made of the same slate as the new kitchen floors. Keeping the palette consistent allows the space to feel intentional and grand.
